I hate when people talk about their teachers and say “Oh she’s a terrible teacher.” Especially when they haven’t been through college yet.

First off, she wouldn’t be teaching if she didn’t go through college and the Board of Education didn’t see her fit. And second, if you don’t understand something in the class then ASK her, and if you still don’t understand, how about taking it upon yourself to find resources to HELP you? 

School is not that hard and teachers are not that terrible as long as you APPLY yourself.

and yes, a teacher can be total crap and they should have their licenses pulled

i used to have this one english teacher who was complete shit

we’d be in the middle of a project and suddenly she’d have us do something else and we’d never get anything done and so she never taught us anything

by the end of the schoolyear we had like five assignments that were finished and graded in the class

She sounds like my Spanish teacher.

Who couldn’t even speak proper english to us.

I think that teachers should be monitored. Because who knows how long ago they went to college? Talent fades sometimes. There are teachers who are bad at teaching. They might know exactly what it is they’re talking about, but when it comes to teaching others how to do it, they might fall behind.

In high school there are varying degrees of how well a teacher can teach. Sometimes, it’s just the student. But sometimes the teacher really just isn’t that good a teacher.
